How 321ZERO Works

Designed to take minimal time: enter figures from your existing bills and records, review the calculated emissions, and export your data when needed.

The basic flow

  1. 1

    Create your company profile

Add the basic information needed to organise your emissions records.

  2. 2

    Enter activity data

Record figures from bills and receipts, such as kWh, litres, travel and waste.

  3. 3

    Review calculated emissions

See emissions grouped by reporting month and Scope 1, 2 or 3.

  4. 4

    Export your records

Download CSV data for review and use in your own reporting process.

Actual setup and entry time varies with the size of your organisation, the number of records and the quality of the source data.

What are Scope 1, 2 and 3?

Greenhouse gas reporting commonly groups emissions into three scopes. The correct treatment can depend on your organisational boundary and reporting standard.

Scope 1 — Direct

Illustrative examples include fuel burned in company vehicles, boilers and on-site equipment.

Scope 2 — Energy

Emissions associated with purchased electricity or other purchased energy.

Scope 3 — Indirect

Illustrative examples include travel, commuting, waste, water and purchased goods or services.

Jersey-specific calculations

The platform can apply factors selected for Jersey activities. Factors and results are estimates: verify the applicable factor, reporting year, source and boundary before relying on a calculation for a formal submission. Requirements and official factors may change.

Eco-Active exports

321ZERO can generate a CSV from the emissions entries you have recorded. You remain responsible for reviewing the data and checking the latest official Eco-Active eligibility, deadline, evidence and submission requirements. The platform does not provide accreditation, certification or independent assurance.
