The total combined carbon footprint of all participating Jersey businesses — by scope, by month, by sector. Anonymous, aggregated, never attributable to a single organisation.

Is Jersey business carbon going up or down? The aggregate tracker shows the island’s trajectory — the same Carbon Neutral Roadmap progress the government wants to monitor.

How many of Jersey’s ~7,000 registered businesses are actively measuring? The counter tracks growth in engagement — from first adopters to island-wide participation.

How aggregate data works

  • Completely anonymous:Aggregate numbers are sums across all participating organisations. No individual business’s emissions, energy use or identity can be derived from the aggregate.
  • Opt-in for public tickers: Individual businesses can publish their own public carbon ticker (showing their name, footprint and progress). This is a separate, explicit opt-in. The aggregate page does not reveal individual data.
  • Minimum threshold:Aggregate figures will only display once enough businesses are participating to ensure no single organisation’s data can be inferred (target: 5+ active organisations).
  • You own your data: Your entries can be downloaded and deleted at any time. If you delete your account, your data is removed from the aggregate.
